By its exotic nature, Italo disco proclaims itself the province of obscurest attention. A shame since the term itself renders inadequate meaning to the work it represents. Dancefloor new wave with a spiraling (but unobtrusive) disco edge, Savage were as relevant and catchy as its singer’s hair was inconceivably ugly.
